Tax Code: The Internal Revenue Code (tax code) continues to balloon. Meanwhile the tax deadline hasn't budged from April 15th, and there are much more tax professionals retiring versus entering into the industry. While the tax code expansion helps keep the industry afloat, the deadline likely contributes to the attrition. Who knows, at some point we may end up with more pages than professionals.
